Changzhou Research Center for Modern Service Industry Set up at CCZU

  Changzhou Committee of Development and Reform (CCDR) and Changzhou University (CCZU) jointly set up a research center for modern service industry in Changzhou. The ceremony was held on December 2nd. A 7-person CCDR delegation led by the director attended the ceremony. Around 100 CCZU teachers and students were present at the ceremony.
 
  Prof. Shi Guodong, Secretary of CCZU, congratulated on the founding of the center on behalf on the university and thanked CCDR for its substantial support for the center. He noted that the founding of the research center is another big step forward in the collaboration between university and government. To ensure the successful operation of the center, CCZU will invest its best research staff and capital. This open center will in time promote the development of the university. “We believe, our joint efforts at the center will be translated into a power engine for the local economy and a think tank for the government.
 
  Zhao Jianjun, Director of CCDR, also congratulated on the center, and expressed his confidence of CCZU in its powerful impact on the service industry of Changzhou. The center should pay special attention to five areas, including production service, cultural creation industry, tourism, modern trade logistics and the upgrade of real estate industry.
 
  After the ceremony, the CCDR delegation inspected the research center accompanied by Prof. Wang Weixing, Deputy President of CCZU.
