Fifth Jiangsu Internet + Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Ended at Changzhou University

In July 18th, the final of the fifth Jiangsu Internet + student innovation and entrepreneurship competition ended in Changzhou University (CZU). The competition is co-sponsored by Changzhou University, Changzhou Science and Education City Management Committee and Nanjing Agricultural University. The competition has received strong support from Jiangsu Education Department, Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Areas, and relevant departments in Changzhou.

 

250 teams competed in the finals, resulting in 40 first prizes and 84 second prizes among universities; 20 first prizes and 32 second prizes in the culture group; 20 first prizes and 54 second prizes in the group of vocational colleges. In the contest of the top four on the 17th, Southeast University won the champion, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics got the runner-up, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Changzhou University won the third place.


During this provincial competition, CZU has submitted 19 projects and10 projects went to the provincial finals, with 4 first prize in the provincial competition,10 second prizes and 4 third prizes.

 

China's Internet + College Students innovation and entrepreneurship competition is an important measure to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, and to strengthen the practice of university students' innovation and entrepreneurship. Since the competition was first held in 2015, a large number of high-quality projects with high technology, great market potential and good social benefits have emerged, which have covered universities across the country. The contest has greatly promoted the employment of college graduates.
