From Dec. 4 to 6, the Academic Innovation Forum of “New Chemical and New Materials” for Jiangsu Graduate Students and CZU Sixth Academic Forum was held in Changzhou University (CZU). The forum was hosted by Jiangsu Engineering Graduate Education Committee and undertaken by CZU. More than 100 teachers and students from 22 universities in Jiangsu Province attended the event.

Prof. Xu Shoukun, CZU Vice President, pointed out that CZU always attached great importance to postgraduate education and the cultivation of innovation and practical ability among postgraduates. The Forum is a good opportunity to strengthen exchanges among universities in the province and to achieve common development and progress.

Four first prizes, six second prizes, eleven third prizes were selected from the postgraduate reporters, plus fifteen prizes of excellent reporting and fifteen prizes of excellent posters . Focusing on cutting-edge issues in emerging chemical, green chemistry and novel materials, the Forum promoted exchanges and cooperation among graduate students of chemical engineering, chemistry and materials science, broadened their academic horizons, stimulated innovative thinking, and encouraged them to make more contributions to the innovation of chemical engineering and materials science.
